The Mendelssohn Choir of Pittsburgh collaborates with Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre in a gripping performance at the historic Benedum Theater. Singers and dancers together on stage will bring to life the Pittsburgh premiere of Dwight Rhoden's dramatic production.

Based on 13th century texts written by monks, Carl Orff's 1936 masterpiece celebrates medieval themes from the joys of love to the hazards of fortune. Alternately rhapsodic and rhythmic, this compelling work combines spectacular choreography with glorious singing to create an emotionally moving experience.
