Christine Hestwood Frattare, 
Artistic Director & Conductor
The 2008 - 2009 season marks Christine Hestwood’s fifth as Music Director and Conductor of The Junior Mendelssohn Choir of Pittsburgh. She is a member of the music faculty in the Upper St. Clair School District and is the Music Director at Westminster Presbyterian Church.
Hestwood holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education with an emphasis on vocal performance from Duquesne University and a Master of Music degree in Choral Conducting from Carnegie Mellon University, where she studied with Grammy Award-winning conductor Robert Page. She has been a featured soloist with the River City Brass Band and with the Pittsburgh Symphony on several of its Fiddlesticks concerts.
