Experienced singers are invited to audition for the Mendelssohn Choir's 2008-09 Centennial Season.  Please contact Membership Secretary Jeanne Miller at  412-561-3353 for audition details and to arrange an appointment.

Student singers in grades 8 - 12 are encouraged to audition for the Junior Mendelssohn Choir on September 5, 6 & 7.

October 17 and 19 Leonard Slatkin conducts the premiere of a work commissioned in honor of Pittsburgh's 250th Anniversary.  Inspired by Pittsburgh's immigrant experience and stories gathered in city neighborhoods, The Good Life is a new oratorio from composer Derek Bermel and librettist Wendy S. Walters of the African-American poetry collective Cave Canem.
The PSO's full concert program rounds out with Dvorák's New World Symphony and John Adams' Slonimsky's Earbox.  Find out more...
