Mendelssohn Fan Faves Contest – The Results!

Mendelssohn Fan Faves Contest – The Results!

If you’re like us, you’ve been finding different ways to pass the time as we remain at home during the pandemic. While we perfect our recipes, crafting, and art-making skills, the one constant with us is always music!

We have launched an exciting choral contest in partnership with Classical WQED-FM89.3, called #MendelssohnFanFaves. We want you to tell us your favorite choral work; the one you could hear on repeat, the one you come to hear live whenever it’s performed, the one you’d drop everything and listen to.

Once the votes are tallied, WQED will do an on-air countdown of the top ten favorites on Monday, May 18. The MCP will also perform an excerpt of the #1 work to open the season next year.

The votes are in!  If you missed it, you can listen to the broadcast here!
