Love Is All Around During the Mendelssohn Choir Cabaret!

Love was in the air this past Valentine’s Day at Olive or Twist!  While the snowflakes flew outside, the singers of the Mendelssohn Choir kept the audience warm as they celebrated the highs and lows of love.  The audience was treated to an array of songs about love, learning that “People Will Say We’re in Love,” love can be “Agony,” so you want to “Wash That Man Right Out of My Hair,” but that “I Wish I Were in Love Again,” and finally that “Our Love Is Here to Stay.”  Classical WQED-89.3’s Anna Singer returned to emcee the program, and helped auction off a variety of exciting baskets and sports memorabilia.  All monies raised during the evening will benefit the Mendelssohn Choir’s choral and educational programming.
